Snowboarder Julia Marino and freestyle skier Jaelin Kauf delivered silver medals on Day 2 after the Americans were blanked on Day 1 of the Olympics.

Julia Marino put together a picture-perfect Run 2, perhaps a career-best, with a cab double underflip 900 and a frontside double 1080 to claim snowboard slopestyle silver and Team USA’s first medal of the 2022 Games.

"It's gonna sink in at some point but right now this is on a cloud, this is crazy," Julia Marino said. "The craziest feeling I've ever felt."

Jaelin Kauf's silver is the United States' first Olympic medal in women's mogul skiing since Hannah Kearney's bronze in 2014.
