A teenager is in custody after allegedly firing off a gun in a drive-thru of a Washtenaw County KFC.

DETROIT – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in in identifying and locating several people wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on the Detroit’s east side. According to authorities, it happened Oct. 15, just after 4 a.m. Police said two vehicles -- a light colored SUV and a dark colored minivan -- pulled up to a KFC located in the 3700 block of Gratiot Avenue. Police said four people pried open the door and entered the building while two remained outside as lookouts. A safe was then removed from the restaurant and placed inside the SUV, which then drove off northbound on Mt. Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has any information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5740 or Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up.

KFC is testing a chicken sandwich held together by donuts in place of a bun. Customers have two options: a chicken and doughnut basket meal for $5.49, which includes chicken tenders or bone-chicken plus a doughnut; or a chicken sandwich for $5.99, featuring a fried chicken patty between two doughnut buns -- the much more exciting option. Or maybe they're just trying to capitalize on some of the chicken sandwich craze. If weird fried chicken sandwich combinations are your thing, KFC also created a Cheetos chicken sandwich over the summer. So this might not be the last of the chicken sandwich game we see from KFC.

(CNN) - Taco Bell is debuting a vegetarian section on its newly redesigned menu, which also includes two new items. Those are in addition to its two other existing vegetarian options that will be displayed prominently in a new "Vegetarian Favorites" menu. In total, there are more than a dozen vegetarian items on Taco Bell's menu. Taco Bell emphasized that non-vegetarian items can be made vegetarian by substituting beans for meat. Taco Bell said in a release said it plans to "further innovate in this growing space."

KFC is selling an "Internet Escape Pod" on its e-store for $10,000, CNN reports. According to the KFC website, the dome is like a magic force field designed to disrupt the internet coming to and from your devices. The dome is made in the USA out of steel and has a stainless steel mesh cage. KFC's e-store says the product won't be replenished when sold out.
