Kraft Heinz, however, will keep its Philadelphia cream cheese brand, Kraft singles and the Velveeta and Cheez Whiz brands. Kraft Heinz โ formed in a 2015 merger โ has been struggling as consumers increasingly seek fresh, minimally processed foods. Kraft Heinz CEO Miguel Patricio said the sale of the natural cheese brands is an example of that portfolio management. Lactalis Group โ whose brands include President specialty cheese and Stonyfield Organic yogurt โ said the Kraft Heinz brands are a good strategic fit.

Nordstrom and Gap are the worst-performing stocks in the S&P 500 so far this year. Several other big brick-and-mortar retailers are among the market's biggest losers of the first half of 2019. All of those companies have recorded sluggish sales and profits as consumers increasingly shop online. And Home Depot, which faces less competition from Amazon and online shopping in general, is up more than 20%.
