Rain amounts should be light, especially compared to what we picked up over the long weekend (2 inches plus in some spots!). Even though temperatures will be within a few degrees of normal, the persistent cloud cover and light rain chances will make it feel cooler. Weekend temperatures will be slightly warmer but fall short of 80 degrees, before we cool below normal again early next week. Outside of that, we should get at least some sunshine, with our warmest temperatures of the forecast, highs in the mid-to-upper 80s.

Morning lows in the 60s after some early morning showers which end well before sunrise tomorrow. Winds are a little lighter WNW 5-15 mph and the winds will calm for the upcoming weekend. One model carries a few light showers into Metro Detroit Saturday afternoon, but the air will be dry and stable fending off most of the wet weather chances.
