U.S. President Joe Biden paid his respects at Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin as thousands of police, hundreds of British troops and an army of officials made final preparations for the queen’s state funeral.

All eight of Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren have stood in silent vigil beside her coffin, capping another huge day in which thousands came to pay their respects to the monarch.

Coronavirus restrictions mean only 30 mourners will attend the funeral of Prince Philip on Saturday at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
