Two boxers representing Metro Detroit kicked off the 2024 National Golden Gloves in Detroit with impressive performances through day one.

A police officer spoke to Local 4 after he was shot while trying to help his wife during a standoff with a triple fatal shooting suspect in Detroit. The officer's wife, sister-in-law and niece were all killed by the gunman.
