Construction in lanes, alleys and sidewalks will start Monday as part of an infrastructure improvement project by the City of Ann Arbor Information Technology department.

Several streets will be going down to one lane through the first week of August for road improvements.

Some northbound and all southbound lanes are closed on Southfield Freeway in Dearborn Monday morning after a semi truck crashed through a median.

DETROIT – A serious collision shut down the southbound lanes of the Lodge Freeway in Detroit Sunday night. Video from the scene shows at least two vehicles were involved near Chicago Boulevard. It’s unknown when the southbound lanes will reopen. Police have not released further details at the time.

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – I-75 in Oakland County has been full of orange barrels since March but now with vehicles traveling on the correct aide of the freeway, crews are gearing to wrap up for the winter. The project is right on schedule and all lanes are expected to be open by December. While it’s called a modernization project, it’s more than making the freeway look modern. After the seasonal shutdown, construction is scheduled to start back up in March, which is when they will work on the south side of I-75 from I-696 to Eight Mile Road. DETROIT – All lanes on southbound M-10 -- John C Lodge Freeway -- are closed at I-75 in Detroit on Friday, Nov. 6. Michigan State Police say that throughout Friday, all southbound M-10 traffic will be routed onto I-75. Northbound and southbound I-75 ramps are also closed, officials said.
