Police said the suspect found the victim’s jacket and took the keys to his 2014 Buick Regal. Allen Park police had surveillance video of the suspect and one clear image. Police said Strunk was remorseful but would only say he left the car in Ecorse with the keys still inside.

According to a press release, 48-year-old Todd Ritter, of Lake Ann, is charged with embezzlement by a public official over $50, larceny in a building, second-degree criminal sexual conduct, common law offenses - misconduct in office and willful neglect on duty. Reports of Ritters unprofessional conduct were initially examined in April 2019 by the county sheriffs office, placing him on administrative leave. Michigan State Police conducted an investigation following the county and the case was reviewed by the Attorney Generals office in April 2020Ritter is scheduled for an arraignment Friday.

An officer shot a taser at Boyer through the passenger side window of the truck, striking him and bringing him down. Boyer is accused of climbing through the window of a Wyandotte home while a family slept on Saturday, according to police. After the home invasions, Boyer stole a car and led Wyandotte officers on a chase, police said.

Vincent Matte Augostino, 52, was arrested Wednesday. Augostino is a contractor who operates under the name “A-1 Handyman,” officials said. On at least two occasions in 2019, Augostino collected money for jobs that he never completed, according to police. Riverview police had been searching for Augostino before Wednesday’s arrest.
