BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. – As nursing homes and other long term care facilities over southeast Michigan struggle to prevent outbreaks of coronavirus (COVID-19), one is now dealing with a case of Legionnaires’ disease.
The Oakland County Health Department started investigating on June 8 after a resident contracted Legionnaires’ disease.

But the health department is especially concerned about the nursing home’s elderly population.
Which means some version of water restrictions will remain in place until the end of the year.
