Police are searching for a man who was involved in the non-fatal shooting on Detroit’s east side.

Five people who are believed to be linked to at least 25 break-ins around Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties were arrested Wednesday after a standoff with police, officials said.

Police say that a woman died early Friday morning while rescuing another woman who fell into the Detroit River.

Authorities reportedly pulled three women from the Detroit River early Friday morning.
