Ann Arbor Art Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, then from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.

The closure starts on Monday morning and includes the section of Liberty Street at the South Main and Liberty intersection.

In surveillance footage shared by residents in the apartments, the men can be seen walking along the alley adjacent to the building.

Several events are happening this weekend which means road closures and extra traffic.

Sunday’s races, which kick off at 8 a.m., include a 5K race, an untimed 1-mile fun run and a 200-meter kids’ dash.

Starting May 5, several roads will be closed downtown so that diners and shoppers can stroll the streets.

Between 2-6 p.m., job seekers can stop by Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites, at 2455 Carpenter Rd., to apply in person.

The Liberty Street ice cream spot announced on social media that it would open for its 2022 season on Wednesday.

Sections of two streets in downtown Ann Arbor will be closed this week due to the need for crane work on construction projects.

ANN ARBOR – If you’re driving in the downtown area, you’ll want to avoid the intersection of Liberty and First streets for the next couple of days. Liberty Street will be near the intersection of First Street starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday for road paving. Cars traveling on Liberty westbound will be detoured south onto Main Street, west onto William Street and north onto Second Street and then back onto Liberty. Cars traveling eastbound will be detoured south onto Second Street, east onto William Street, north onto Ashley Street and then back onto Liberty. Traffic between First and Main streets, Second and First streets and pedestrian traffic on one side of the street will be maintained.

ANN ARBOR – City Council unanimously approved on Monday night the extension of downtown street closures for businesses to continue operating outdoors through Nov. 30. The closures were originally set to end on Nov. 1. Three new road construction projects will impact traffic downtown and on the east side of Ann Arbor starting Monday. ANN ARBOR Starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, several streets in the downtown area will be closing to cars to allow for expanded shopping and patio services for bars, restaurants and retail businesses. Ann Arbor City Council recently approved the closures to help businesses facilitate safer physical distancing practices during the health crisis. ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair kicks off Thursday and ends Sunday. The four-day event aims to transform Ann Arbor into an outdoor gallery featuring more than 1,000 artists. The downtown section is on Main Street from William to Huron and Liberty Street from Ashley to Fifth Avenue. She said she has been making art her entire life.
