Love isn’t patient, love isn’t kind — at least if you ask the fans of Netflix’s “Love Is Blind.”.

During the beginning of the pandemic, Netflix launched a reality tv show called “Love is Blind.” The show has opened up casting and is looking for singles that live in the Metro Detroit area.

Earlier this year, a new kind of dating show on Netflix took America by storm. The experiment proved successful for two of those people Cameron Hamilton and Detroit native Lauren Speed, now Lauren Speed-Hamilton. Lauren and Cameron met, fell in love and got married on show. Lauren wanted to talk to her hometown, so she joined Tati Amare via Skype to share about her experience on the dating show. Lauren also revealed what she misses most about the D. During last week’s finale, we only saw Barnett and Amber and Cameron and Lauren actually get married, while Jessica, Kelly and Damian each left their respectful fiancés at the altar. Apparently, some of these dates lead to actual love, and then the couples become engaged without ever seeing what the other person looks like. There are a few other reality TV shows where people get married at first sight, and if you watched Netflix’s “The Circle,” you’ll probably think “Love Is Blind” sounds a little bit like that.
