Nichole Leas, 40, of Warren was charged with a moving violation causing death in October of last year in the death of her granddaughter. According to Lucido, one or more additional charges are being considered. While this is a heartbreaking situation, Michigan does not have a per se law pertaining to the amount of marijuana in a person’s system, as it does with alcohol.
