Police are still searching for the person who fired shots outside the Macomb Mall in Roseville on Sunday.

The Macomb Mall closed early on Sunday after shots were fired outside near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The Mayor of Roseville, Robert Taylor confirmed to Local 4 that there was an active shooter situation inside Macomb Mall on Sunday afternoon.

Macomb Mall retailers are looking to fill full and part-time positions on Friday, Nov. 5 - Sunday, Nov. 7, during mall hours.

Officials said the woman entered the Kay Jewelers inside the mall at 5:56 p.m. Friday and asked to see a diamond ring. After looking at the ring for a few moments, she ran out of the store without paying, according to police. The woman got into a dark-colored, newer-model Ford Fusion and drove south through the parking lot toward Masonic Road, according to authorities.
