Dearborn police said some residents were concerned as to why the store was boarded up. Police said Marshalls told all of its stores to board its windows before the election. Police said there is no known threats to the store, which remains open, or any other location within the in Dearborn“There is nothing to be concerned about at this time and the police department will continue to work to provide a safe and secure election," said Police Chief Ronald Haddad.

Payroll processor ADP said Wednesday that hiring in September was also revised down sharply to 93,000 jobs from the initial report of 135,000 jobs. "The slowdown in job growth is really about what's happening at smaller companies," said Zandi, as companies with fewer than 20 workers shed 12,000 jobs last month. One key indicator in Friday's jobs report will be the change in average hourly wages.

Neil Saunders, managing director at GlobalData Retail, told CNN Business that an online store for Marshalls was likely low on TJX's list because it was focused on expanding its profitable physical locations. He cautioned that TJX be careful that its online store doesn't cannibalize its stores. "One of the key things about the off-price model is that people will bargain hunt in a physical stores, which doesn't always translate online," he said.

(WDIV)DETROIT - Two infant sleepers are being recalled due to safety concerns associated with inclined sleep products. Dorel Juvenile Group USA is recalling 24,000 infant sleepers sold nationwide at Target, Kmart, Ross, Marshalls, T.J.Maxx and other stores between November 2014 and February 2017. The recall involves the Eddie Bauer Slumber and Soothe Bassinet and the Disney Baby Doze and Dream Bassinet. So far, no incidents involving the recalled sleepers have been reported, but infant fatalities have been linked to other inclined sleeper brands.
