McDonald’s is bringing back the fan-favorite McRib for one last victory lap.

McDonald's announced Friday that for the first time in eight years it will be offering nationwide its barbeque slathered sandwich with the cult following. McDonald's is reintroducing the McRib nationally as it tries to regain its footing during the pandemic, which left many of its dining rooms sparsely populated or empty, though drive-thrus continued to operate.

DETROIT - McDonald's announced the popular McRib sandwich is back for a limited time, and thousands of chain branches are participating. The sandwich is a fan favorite that includes a pork patty, barbecue sauce, onions and pickles on a hoagie bun. It's listed at 480 calories on the McDonald's website.
