Detroit residents are voicing their concerns about safety and blocking traffic while trees come crashing down after severe storms.

From flooding during the weekend of June 25 to the recent round of heavy storms Aug. 11-12, severe weather in Southeast Michigan has led to damage of buildings, vehicles and roads.

More than 15,000 DTE Energy customers across Metro Detroit are without power Sunday night after strong storms passed through the area.
