A rise in cases means that campus case investigators are “significantly strained.”Since Sunday, U-M has confirmed 26 new COVID cases on campus. During the week starting Feb. 7, U-M reported 352 new cases -- it’s highest weekly case rate since the week starting October 11, when new cases stood at 409. School officials continue to urge the U-M community to continue to get tested, even if no symptoms are present.

According to the letter, testing through Michigan Athletics, University Health Service or Occupational Health Services meets the weekly requirement. According to U-M, weekly COVID-19 testing through the school is required for all students who live on or visit campus, including those who are:Living in Michigan Housing. Starting on Monday, all graduate and professional students will see a weekly testing status box appear in their ResponsiBLUE app.

According to a graphic tweeted by Michigan Athletics, 3,580 season ticket holders donated their tickets, accounting for 16% of all season ticket holders. The gifts ranged from $75 to $38,792 and came mostly from season ticket holders from California, Illinois, Michigan, New York and Ohio. We had 3,580 season ticket holders donate their @UMichFootball tickets to our athletic department, raising $5.9M. At the time, season tickets holders who had already paid for their tickets were told they could apply their balance to 2021 season tickets, request a refund or donate them to the athletic department.
