The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy have reported that Michiganders’ recycling rate is up 35.4%.

In a 6-3 ruling, the conservative majority court says the president lacks the unilateral power to impose this mandate and that OSHA does not have the authority to enforce it.

Leaders of multiple Chamber of Commerce groups in Michigan came together to discuss President Joe Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate for businesses. They argued that the mandate, along with the current worker shortage, puts business owners in a difficult situation.

Michigan business groups are urging President Joe Biden to reconsider a plan to require most workers to get vaccinated or regularly tested for COVID-19 but say, if it is enacted, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer should ensure related state rules are no stricter.

DETROIT – Michigan Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Rich Studley, sent a letter to the state’s governor, Gretchen Whitmer, on Friday discouraging a stay-at-home or shelter-in-place executive order. To date a total of four states including Illinois, New Jersey, California and New York have enforced lockdowns.
