DETROIT Soon, more bike-rental stations will be popping up around town.
MoGo, Detroits non-profit bike share system, announced today station locations for its planned expansion.
Set to launch in Spring 2020, MoGo will add 31 new stations and 140 bikes to central northwest Detroit, as well as Ferndale, Royal Oak, Oak Park, Berkley, and Huntington Woods, nearly doubling MoGos current system size.
MoGo is proud to partner with our expansion communities in tackling an important piece of the regional transportation puzzle, said Lisa Nuszkowski, founder and executive director of MoGo.
Station locations were determined through a series of community meetings, suggestions from MoGos online station siting map and input from local officials.
