Holmes was last seen wearing a gray and white horizontal striped shirt, a white jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. Police said she has onset dementia and may be heading to Indiana. The Monroe County Sheriffs Office is investigating a traffic crash involving a Monroe County Sheriffs Animal Control Division vehicle from their department that occurred in Monroe on Thursday. Officials say a 44-year-old woman was driving westbound on M-50 and disregarded a red light at the intersection of Raisinville and South Custer roads, striking the county sheriffs vehicle that was traveling south on Rasinville Road. The driver of the county sheriffs vehicle was transported to the hospital and listed in critical condition. Officials say the woman driver, from Hudson, Michigan, sustained serious injuries and was also taken to the hospital. The woman is believed to have been involved in a previous hit-and-run incident in Monroe, officials said.

A semi truck driver shot at another semi truck driver Friday in Monroe County, authorities said. According to the Monroe County Sheriffs Office, a 50-year-old Roseville man fired at another drivers truck while they both traveled on I-75 near Nadeau Road in Frenchtown Township at 12:46 p.m. A bullet hole and spent shell casing were found in the door of the victims truck. A handgun was found in the shooters truck, authorities said. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Sheriffs Office at 734-240-7705.
