Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken Meal products produced and packaged on September 2, 2020 have been recalled. The FDA reported Saturday Nestlé is recalling approximately 92,206 pounds of LEAN CUISINE Baked Chicken meal products after the company received multiple consumer complaints involving hard white plastic found in the products. The company believes pieces of a plastic conveyor belt that broke during production could be the cause. The baked chicken meal products were produced and packaged on September 2, 2020. (244g) carton trays of “LEAN CUISINE Baked Chicken, white meat chicken with stuffing, red skin mashed potatoes and gravy” with a lot code of 0246595911 and “Best Before” date of October 2021.

A 2018 case challenging Nestle’s permit to extract Michigan water and sell it for a profit has been dismissed by the state’s environmental department on Friday. Residents have also shown outrage over the company taking Michigan water almost for free and turning it into a huge profit. In 2018, residents told Local 4 that the creek was thriving a few years ago, but things have changed because of the water Nestle is pumping out. In an effort to ramp up the legal fight against Nestle’s use of Michigan water, environmental groups requested that Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel step in back in July of this year.
