Two men were discovered hiding in separate Detroit garages after they forced their way into a pharmacy, stole thousands of dollars’ worth of medicine, and crashed at the end of a high-speed police chase, officials said.

A 12-year-old boy was shot in an upstairs bedroom Monday evening at a home near Nottingham Road and Britain Avenue on Detroit’s east side.

Thirteen people were shot and two were killed overnight in seven separate shootings within a seven-hour span in Detroit, police said.

DETROIT Police are looking for a teen wanted in connection with a carjacking on Saturday night. Authorities say at about 10:40 p.m. a 16-year-old boy met up with a 19-year-old male who produced a weapon, fired a shot and demanded the boys 2008 Chevrolet Impala. Police say the suspect fled the scene in the 5700 block of Nottingham Road in an unknown direction with the vehicle. He is described as a Black male with short, wavy hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt. GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. - Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating six young men wanted on suspicion of vandalizing several cars. According to authorities, between 10 and 11 p.m. Tuesday, multiple cars were vandalized with spray paint by six young men on bikes.
