The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit hosted a community forum Wednesday amid growing antisemitic attacks, including a recent incident at a synagogue in Bloomfield Township.

The question that has everyone concerned is if the Oakland County Prosecutor will seek life without parole for the 16-year-old convicted Oxford High School shooter.

The Crumbley parents have requested a new court filing as their lawyers say Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald has crossed the line.

The drawings prosecutors say 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley made, and were found by a teacher, just hours before the Oxford High School shooting have been released.

More information is expected to be released on Friday regarding a shooting at Oxford High School.

Karen McDonald is leading incumbent Jessica Cooper in the Democratic primary election for Oakland County Prosecutor. McDonald previously served as a judge on the 6th Circuit Court. She resigned from the bench in 2019.Cooper was elected Oakland County Prosecutor in November of 2008. Goetz ran unopposed in the Aug. 4 primary.
