WARREN, Mich. โ€“ Thomas Jarosโ€™ doorbell camera captured an Amazon driver stealing a package that they had just delivered. โ€œMy package had been delivered and there was a picture that my package was on the doorstep.โ€Jaros received the photo from Amazon to confirm that the items he ordered had been delivered to his motherโ€™s home in Warren, but when he and his mother checked -- the package was gone. Jaros said he took the footage with the Warren Police Department and made a police report. A Detroit woman said she took matters into her own hands after someone was stealing her packages. After getting a Ring doorbell camera, she finally caught a woman stealing her latest package off her door step.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. โ€“ A man was seen running off with an Amazon package that he took from the front porch of a Roseville home, police said. Officials said the man grabbed the package around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 1700 block of Roseville Boulevard. He is about 17-21 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches to 6 feet tall and 200-225 pounds, police said. A suspected Roseville package thief on April 25, 2020. VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ€“ A package thief devised a scheme to walk up to a Van Buren Township porch carrying an empty box to look like a delivery driver, but then swapped the box with the residentโ€™s package, police said. He placed the box on the porch and then stole the package that had previously been delivered, according to authorities. The man was aware of the homeownerโ€™s Ring doorbell and looked down to avoid his face being captured, officials said. Anyone who recognizes the man in the photos above is asked to call Van Buren Township police at 734-699-8938.
