The school said the man was in a white windowless utility van and asked if the child wanted a ride home. The letter sent to parents urges them to review all safety precautions with their children and to urge them to be cautious in any situation that feels uncomfortable or dangerous. “Please be sure that your children know to report any incident immediately to an adult,” the letter concludes. “Our most important priority, like yours, is keeping our students safe.”AdAnyone with information should call the Grosse Pointe Woods Department of Public Safety at 313-343-2400.

He captured the $100,000 grand prize and a berth in the next edition of the Tournament of Champions. Henri went into the last moments of the tournament with a slight lead over Kwait, and he knew he had a good chance of winning when he read the Final Jeopardy! This group of teachers is really special, and most of us are still in touch, which has been helpful as were all facing isolation.The 2020 Teachers Tournament was taped in early February, before shut-down orders were in effect.

A threat was reportedly made against Parcells Middle School on Monday night. The school district said a student posted a photo of a gun to social media, telling kids not to go to class. Police were able to track down that student and the air-soft gun used in the post. They believe there is no credible threat, but will have a police presence at the school as a precaution.
