Swedish supergroup ABBA has asked Donald Trump to stop using their music at campaign rallies, but the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign says it has permission.

Pop powerhouses, American classics, British artists and estates of deceased legends — many musicians have objected to former president Donald Trump using their songs at campaign events.

The Trump campaign can hardly play a song without the artist denouncing its use and sending a cease-and-desist letter. “I did not write it for that.”That feeling that they've been drafted onto Team Trump clearly fuels many artists' anger. “It’s not a great look for the artists, if their music is aligned with something seen as unsafe,” Kaufman said. “Courts have recognized that that could be an implied endorsement.”The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
