A caller told police a 34-year-old West Bloomfield man working as a security guard had been knocked out by a hammer. The person responsible was a 34-year-old Pontiac man who fled in a GMC Jimmy, according to authorities. When deputies got to the apartment complex, the West Bloomfield man was unresponsive and lying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk outside the main entrance, according to authorities. The Pontiac man was taken to the Oakland County Jail pending formal charges.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says that at about 12:31 a.m. a 29-year-old Detroit man was shot and killed in the parking lot outside the haunted house. Officials say that the man and his girlfriend were standing in line behind the suspected male shooter, waiting to enter the haunted house. Photos of the suspect and blue sedan in question have been provided by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in a Facebook post (see below). Read full article: 3 charged in connection with assault that disfigured Pontiac man’s handPONTIAC, Mich. – Patrick Fredrick-Deon Leak, Patricia Deneen Osborn and Henry Rahsaun Simms were charged Friday in connection with a violent assault of a Pontiac man. Police said they recovered three of the man’s fingers at the apartment where the assault took place. Leak, 40, was charged with armed robbery and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Osborn, 56, was charged with armed robbery and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Simms, 32, was charged with armed robbery and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
