This National Poison Prevention Week, we’re diving into the potential toxic hazards in your home -- particularly those that children can get their hands on.

Christy Ann Thompson Harris, 36, was found dead five years ago at her Davison home. Her death was initially ruled an accidental overdose. But after further investigation her husband, Jason Harris, was charged with her murder.

The series examines the “rise and eventual fall” of the New Jack Swing movement. “I didn’t think of her as an audio actress, but she’s just great at it.”Through the podcast, Henson wants the New Jack Swing story to be turned into a film.

TROY, Mich. – A Troy family said ongoing construction in the area is bringing out rats. What is more concerning for them is when their dog became sick after ingesting rat poison. It’s a problem Sean and Gail Henning said they have been dealing with for some time now. They said a neighbor started putting out rat poison by their homes to get rid of the rodents. I went to go see what it was and it looked to me like it was rat poison pellet,” said Sean Henning.
