Michigan State Police is investigating a shooting Tuesday on Southfield Freeway northbound near I-96State police said in a series of tweets that the shooting was reported by a witness. A preliminary investigation revealed that a woman was cut off by a vehicle and she honked at the driver. A passenger in that vehicle fired a shot at the woman before the two occupants took off. Police said the woman was not struck during the shooting. DETROIT Michigan State Police are investigating a possible shooting that happened on I-75 south of 7 Mile Road in Detroit on Monday evening. The freeway was closed at 7 Mile Road while officers investigated. The suspected shooting is believed to have happened at 5:10 p.m.Canine units and troopers searched the freeway for evidence.
