Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken Meal products produced and packaged on September 2, 2020 have been recalled. The FDA reported Saturday Nestlé is recalling approximately 92,206 pounds of LEAN CUISINE Baked Chicken meal products after the company received multiple consumer complaints involving hard white plastic found in the products. The company believes pieces of a plastic conveyor belt that broke during production could be the cause. The baked chicken meal products were produced and packaged on September 2, 2020. (244g) carton trays of “LEAN CUISINE Baked Chicken, white meat chicken with stuffing, red skin mashed potatoes and gravy” with a lot code of 0246595911 and “Best Before” date of October 2021.

Hostess Brands, LLC issued a recall notice on Tuesday for certain food products due to a potential for mold. The company is recalling certain Hostess Raspberry Zingers due to a potential for mold to develop prior to the labeled best by date. A vegan frozen dessert has been recalled by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for potentially containing an undisclosed cashew allergen. As of July 31 the FDA has recalled non-dairy frozen desserts by the brand Earth Grown because they may contain an undeclared cashew allergen. Officials say the recalled products will be removed from ALDI stores and the company is conducting a review of their allergen controls.
