Police are seeking information about an 15-year-old boy who went missing in Redford.

Surveillance cameras captured video of someone firing six assault rifle shots from a car as it sped past a home in Redford Township.

A family is suing Redford Township police and Redford Township over the rough arrest of a 58-year-old man with health problems who later died.

A man and a woman have been charged in connection with a Redford Township shooting that killed a man and injured another, officials said.

REDFORD, Mich. – On Saturday, an Endangered Missing Advisory issued for 8-year-old Maleah Elizabeth Wissert was canceled. Redford police say the child was located and is safe. REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police have surrounded a Redford Township home Thursday afternoon where an armed man has barricaded himself. Officials say a domestic situation at a residence in the area of Lexington and Norfolk resulted in the gunman pointing a firearm at another individual. When officers responded to the scene, the gunman pointed the weapon at the hostage and barricaded himself inside the home, police say. It is unclear who is inside the home with the gunman at this time. Officials say officers will enter the home at some point.

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Police are searching for a 75-year-old woman who went missing Sunday afternoon. According to Redford Township police, Emma Jenkins was last seen near the intersection of Telegraph and Chicago roads at about 2:30 p.m.She was last seen wearing a blue hat, brown shirt, black pants and black and white shoes.
