Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with an alleged crime spree in Monroe Township that involved a stolen vehicle and retail fraud.

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. Police said a man used a stolen credit card to make purchases at three Oakland County stores on the first day of retail reopening in Metro Detroit. The man used the credit card to buy $484 worth of items at two stores in Waterford Township and a third store in White Lake, according to authorities. Tuesday was the first day of retail reopening in Metro Detroit after being shut down due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Officials said the credit card had been stolen from the center console of an unlocked car. DETROIT – Detroit police are looking for a pair who stole a cart full of items from a store on March 26. Police said two women entered the business in the 7000 block of Gratiot Avenue at about 5:20 p.m., filled a cart with items and left without paying. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, dark-colored leggings and black flip-flops. She was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket and blue jeans. CANTON, Mich. – Canton police are looking for a man and woman they say allegedly stole from Walmart on April 9. Security camera photos show the pair leaving the store at 45555 Michigan Avenue with a television and other large boxes in carts. The man is described as white with wavy, dark-colored hair, a beard and a mustache. The woman is described as white with long, straight, dark-colored hair. Police believe she is also in her late 20s or early 30s.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A shopper who threw a Walmart employee to the ground after being caught trying to steal items in the self checkout area has been charged with two misdemeanors, officials said. Ronald Doby, 30, of Detroit turned himself in to police Wednesday, authorities said. The incident happened around 3:25 p.m. March 6 at the Walmart store at 28804 Gratiot Avenue, according to officials. Those items were removed from Doby’s cart and he turned as if to leave the store, officials said. Then, he turned back around and threw the employee to the ground and into a shopping cart, causing the employee to cut his head, authorities said.

WESTLAND, Mich. – Two men reached behind the jewelry counter at the Westland Mall Sears and stole items Feb. 3, police said. They both reached behind the counter, got into the display cases and took items that they put into their pockets. He stands about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 180-200 pounds. He is about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs around 150-180 pounds. BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two men stole a shopping cart full of Nike basketball shoes from a Dick’s Sporting Goods store in Bloomfield Township, police said. Officials learned from the store manager that two men loaded a shopping cart full of Nike basketball shoes and fled out the emergency exit in the back of the store. The other has a facial tattoo, stands about 6 feet tall and weighs 240 pounds, according to authorities. Officials estimate the men stole more than $800 worth of gym shoes. BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police said a man with a cart full of groceries walked out of a Bloomfield Township store right in front of employees and loaded the stolen items into his car while a manager tried to stop him. Bloomfield Township police were called around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Kroger store at 4099 Telegraph Road. The store manager said a man left the store with a shopping cart full of groceries and never paid. When the manager tried to stop the man, he pushed his cart past employees and started unloading groceries into the back of his Lincoln MKX, according to authorities. BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are searching for two people suspected of stealing Apple products from a store in Bloomfield Township, officials said. Bloomfield Township police officers were called around noon Friday to the Target at 2400 Telegraph Road, according to authorities. Loss prevention officers said two young men, possibly in their 20s, entered the store and asked to see an Apple iPad and an Apple Watch. While fleeing the store, one of the men jumped over a railing and landed on a 16-year-old boy, according to authorities.
