A federal judge has dismissed a federal lawsuit by ex-governor and ex-con Rod Blagojevich seeking a return to public office by quoting Dr. Seuss.

Andrew Cuomo says he looked down her shirt and made suggestive remarks to her and another aide, according to a newspaper report published Friday. Alyssa McGrath told The New York Times that Cuomo called her beautiful in Italian, referred to her and her female colleague as “mingle mamas,” asked why she wasn’t wearing a wedding ring, and inquired about her divorce, McGrath said. McGrath told The New York Times that her female colleague was the same woman the governor is accused of groping in the Executive Mansion, an allegation that was revealed in a report last week in the Times Union of Albany. “Impeachment isn’t something New York does regularly, so no one really knows how it’s supposed to work," he said.

CHICAGO – Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was freed from prison Tuesday night following a pardon from President Trump. He was impeached and removed from office in 2009 on corruption charges and served eight years in federal prison. Blagojevich returned home to Chicago early Wednesday, shaking hands and signing autographs after President Donald Trump cut short the 14-year prison sentence handed to the former Illinois governor for political corruption. Trump asked for a show of hands at a fundraiser at Chicago's Trump International Hotel of those who supported clemency for the 62-year-old Democrat. Most of the 200 to 300 attendees raised their hands, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing several people at Monday's event. On the same day, Trump told Chicago's WLS-TV that despite bringing up the possibility of freeing Blagojevich in August and then appearing to back away from the idea Blagojevich shouldn't abandon hope of an early release. Blagojevich's wife, Patti, has lobbied the Republican president hard on her husband's behalf. Trump first publicly mentioned the idea in May 2018, saying Blagojevich was convicted for "being stupid, saying things ... many other politicians say."
