Roderick Webster, 44, of Detroit, was shot several times around 12:30 a.m. Oct. 10 in the 9100 block of Hartwell Street, according to authorities. Webster was found by concerned neighbors in the driveway of a home in the area, police said. The shooter was nowhere in sight when Webster was discovered, officials said. Webster was a Mackenzie High School graduate and worked at Motor City Casino due to his talents in culinary art, officials said.
