According to the Wayne County Prosecutorโs Office, during the shooting the suspect allegedly killed a 37-year-old man. A 41-year-old woman and 17-year-old man were also shot, but survived. Neighbors were startled out of their sleep to the sounds of a house explosion. Police say the suspects were arrested on unrelated warrants but theyre still being questioned. Neighbors claim to have heard gunshots before the explosion and saw a person fleeing the scene after the explosion. Police said the next step is identifying the bodies and finding out how they died before they can potentially press charges on the men taken into custody.

Officials with the Water and Sewer section of the Department of Public Works said there is a serious water main problem at the corner of Seven Mile and Newburgh roads. Residents from Seven Mile Road south to Schoolcraft along the Mewburgh and Levan roads corridor might have low water pressure or no water pressure at all, according to officials. Crews are working to solve the issue as quickly and safely as possible, officials said. No boil water advisory has been issued, city officials said.
