Police are still searching for the person who fired shots outside the Macomb Mall in Roseville on Sunday.

There were shots fired at police officers in Westland, officials say.

Police are providing more details after several shots were fired at officers Thursday night during a chase through Southwest Detroit.

The incident took place on Jan. 28 when police in Grosse Pointe Shores tried to stop a car for a traffic violation. There were two chases: The first one ended in Grosse Pointe Shores and a second that finished off on Jefferson Avenue and Revere Street.

Police were spotted leaving the the scene Friday night on Jefferson Avenue and Revere Street where a police chase ended.

According to Michigan State Police, on Saturday at around 11:50 p.m. Inkster officers were sent to the area of Hazelwood and Center after complaints over gunshots.

A barricaded gunman who fired shots at his girlfriend was taken into custody by officers on Sunday, Detroit police say.

DETROIT – Larry Turner recorded video of someone shooting into a Detroit home on a Sunday morning. The video shows a young man unloading a handgun into a home on Margareta Street. Turner said he heard people yelling during a domestic dispute that Detroit police had been called and were on their way. A man nearby urged the man not to start shooting. The man started shooting anyway.

HARPER WOODS, Mich. – A 40-year-old man was shot multiple times at a shopping mall in Harper Woods Wednesday afternoon, officials said. According to authorities, at about 6:14 p.m. police responded to multiple reports of shots fired at the Eastland Center shopping mall. Officials say there were two suspects involved in an altercation with the victim. Officials say a silver Chevrolet Malibu reportedly fled the scene onto E. Vernier Road toward I-94. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating a report of a fight and shots fired in the parking lot of the Retreat of Farmington Hills apartment complex. One person ran away from responding officers and is described as a Black man in his 20s, of medium height. He was wearing black jogging pants with a white stripe down the side and carrying a black backpack. Police said there are no reports of any injuries and no information that indicates there’s a threat to the public. HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. – Police said a case of road rage on the Davison Freeway led to shots being fired. The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday on the right shouder of the westbound lanes near Hamilton Avenue. Michigan State Police shut down westbound lanes of the Davison Freeway from I-75 to The Lodge for most of the night to search for evidence. The shooting is still under investigation. HARPER WOODS, Mich. Officials said on Tuesday at 1 a.m. officers from the Harper Woods Department of Public Safety responded to the Parkcrest Inn on the report of shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found several victims who reported being shot at by the same man. Lewis Nichols, 27, of Detroit, was found in the rear seat of a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot of the Parkcrest Inn and arrested. Officers also found a 9mm semi-automatic handgun in the vehicle. Officers also recovered a 9mm semi-automatic handgun in the vehicle with Nichols.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. An Iosco Township man has been charged with felonious assault. Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriffs Office responded to the Countryway Market in Handy Township on Saturday at 6:20 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Police said as the victim was leaving the area the suspect, Michael Joseph Libtow, 31, of Iosco Township, attempted to block the roadway with his vehicle. Libtow was taken into custody and loged at the Livingston County Jail without further incident. Libtow was arraigned on Monday at the 53rd District Court in Howell and was charged with one count of felonious assault.

DETROIT – A 16-year-old boy was shot Wednesday morning at a White Castle restaurant in the 8800 block of Greenfield Road. The restaurant is at the northwest corner of Greenfield and Joy roads. The boy is expected to survive gunshot wounds. His exact condition is not known at this time. Detroit police are working to find out what led to this shooting and who is responsible.
