The widow of singer Chris Cornell and his former bandmates in Soundgarden say they have resolved her lawsuit against them.

The nominees are in, and this year’s potential Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees span a wide variety of music genres.

Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, Kate Bush, Iron Maiden, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, Sheryl Crow and the late George Michael are nominees for 2023 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a list that includes a mix of country, soul, hip-hop, metal, pop, rap-rock and grunge.

Toni Cornell, the 15-year-old daughter of late Soundgarden and Audioslave artist Chris Cornell, released her first original song this week. Her stage debut occurred in 2015 when she sang Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" with her father at New York City's Beacon Theater. Toni Cornell sang the song again at a musical tribute to her late father in February, this time accompanied by the reggae legend's son, Ziggy Marley.
