Sheldon Creed beat Sam Mayer on a restart with 13 laps to go Sunday at World Wide Technology Raceway to win his third Truck Series race of the season and a $100,000 bonus. Creed's victory pushed his bonus earnings to $150,000 this year in the Triple Truck Challenge. At the track outside of St. Louis, Creed battled with Todd Gilliland, who led a race-high 76 of the 160 laps. Moffitt tried to get around teammate Creed in the final restart but couldnt get his truck in position for the pass. The truck series next races Sunday at Darlington Raceway.

(AP Photo/Terry Renna)HOMESTEAD, FL Matt Crafton won a championship without winning a race, an unprecedented feat under NASCARs new title-deciding playoff systems. Crafton finished second in Friday nights Truck Series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway good enough for his third series title in the winner-take-all format. The champion needed only to finish highest of the foursome of Crafton, reigning series champion Bret Moffitt, Stewart Friesen and Ross Chastain to win the title. Austin Hill won the race driving for Hattori Racing Enterprises, the team Moffitt won the title with last season.
