This comes after coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines were announced by state and local health officials. The hospital is following guidelines that were established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses and the American Hospital Association. Patients and visitors will be required to pass through a hospital screening station where their temperatures will be taken before the enter the building, according to a news release. All patients and visitors are asked to wear a mask at all times.
