DETROIT – Police have been searching for a murder suspect following a high-speed chase on Interstate 94. Police said the suspect is connected to a deadly shooting in Romulus. The chase started in Romulus onto I-94. The driver eventually got off the freeway at Chene Street before crashing the car and the two occupants inside took off. WESTLAND, Mich. – Westland police are searching for five people wanted in connection with an armed robbery that happened around 4 p.m. on Oct. 17. The robbery took place after the victim, a 63-year-old resident of Westland, walked into a gas station located at 38350 Ford Road in Westland. Before even entering the station the victim was assaulted and his wallet and prescription sunglasses were stolen, police say. Police describe the suspects as four Black men and one Black woman. DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two men wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting that happened on the city’s east side. The first suspect was seen exiting the vehicle and firing shots, striking the two victims, a 22 year old man and 42-year-old woman. Police say the first suspect re-entered the vehicle and both suspects fled the scene. He was armed and last seen wearing a black T-shirt, shorts, and light-colored shoes. The second suspect is described as a black male, and was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweater.
