BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Rebecca Hodge said it was a normal trip to the Brownstown Automatic Car Wash on Telegraph Road. “I’ve used this car wash before,” Hodge said. Hodge said that’s when a part of the car wash machine allegedly slammed into her car. “We don’t often get calls to rescue people from car wash,” Watson said. TAYLOR, Mich. The westbound lanes of I-94 were closed at Telegraph Road for several hours Thursday morning for a police investigation after a shooting on the interstate. Michigan State Police said troopers were dispatched about 3:50 a.m. to a shooting on the freeway. A man said he had been shot at while driving on westbound I-94 near Ecorse Road. The driver was not hurt and continued driving to work. The man who called police is a concealed pistol license (CPL) holder.

TAYLOR, Mich. A driver on I-94 said multiple shots were fired at his car in a case of road rage Thursday morning. It happened at I-94 and Telegraph Road, leaving the freeway shutdown for hours for police to investigate. Lacour Vaughn was on his way to work just before 4 a.m. when he noticed a driver weaving in and out of traffic. I switched lanes so I could pass him and I guess he didnt like that and a case of road rage happened, Vaughn said. The shooting shut down I-94 just as morning traffic started to pick up.

Redford Police believe road rage is the reason an 8-year old girl will now have to grow up without her father. John Slowik Jr. was shot and killed while driving in the area of Telegraph and Beech Daly. Redford Township said on June 6th, Slowik was shot and killed on Acacia near Telegraph, from a possible road rage incident. Officers said the driver of the White Impala shot Slowik and drove off, “I don’t see how anybody can do that. Police are looking for the suspect and that White Impala.

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Redford police are searching for a missing 59-year-old woman who walked away from a group home over the weekend. Lillian Goodman was last seen around 9 a.m. Sunday in the area of Five Mile and Telegraph roads in Redford Township, police said. Goodman is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds, officials said. She was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
