The Basketball Tournament, also known as TBT, is a basketball competition for a cause. Many players from Michigan will be participating in the event this year.

Team Brotherly Love 87, Stillwater Stars 71Leading in scoring was Stars LeBryan Nash who dropped 30 points for the squad. Herd That 80, Peoria All Stars 65Jacorey Williams scored 22 points for the Marshall Alumni squad against the latest addition to The Tournament. For Team Hines Brandon Paul led the way with 23 points and Ethan Happ scored 20 points. Former Michigan State forward Branden Dawson chipped in 12 points for Heartfire while Isaiah Austin led the way with 17 points. For the Power of the Paw, Donte Grantham led the way with 20 points for his squad.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Mondays lone game resulted in a win for the Golden Eagles who played Team CP3. Sideline Cancer, 2 p.m. ESPNTeam Challenge ALS will be playing their first game of action in the tournament after getting a bye in the first round. With NBA talent like Malachi Richardson, the Army will be a tough team to beat. The Purdue University alumni squad who defeated Heartfire in the opening round, poses a tough matchup. Justin Dentmons 33-point performance marked the best offensive output in TBT this summer, and 72 big man Isaac Hass is an intimidating defensive presence around the basket.

Their most notable player is Casper Ware who had a stint with the NBAs Philadelphia 76ers and now plays in the NBL in Australia. Jordon Crawford and Bryce Alford are the most notable players who both had thriving college careers and play professionally overseas. House of Paign (Illinois University Alumni): Representing apart of the Big 10, these alums are ready to bring the Paign to TBT. Stillwater Stars (Oklahoma State University Alumni): The former Cowboys are looking to reel in a championship in this years TBT. Herd That (Marshall University Alumni): The Conference USA alums are coming in together as a herd.
