There's also an โLatinos Voteโ extension campaign with NFL legends and celebrities encouraging the Latino community to vote that includes Victor Cuz, Roberto Garza and Wilmer Valderrama.

The AMC series that became a franchise with current and planned spin-offs will wrap with an 11th season spanning 24 episodes and two years, the channel said Wednesday. When The Walking Dead is laid to rest in late 2022, a new spin-off centered on characters Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier (Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride) will follow in 2023, AMC said. An anthology series, Tales of the Walking Dead, focusing on new and existing characters, is in development along with other projects grounded in The Walking Dead universe," the channel said. Closer at hand are Fear the Walking Dead, which begins its sixth season Oct. 11, and newcomer The Walking Dead: World Beyond, which debuts Oct. 4 and follows the first generation to grow up during the apocalypse.

(CNN) - After roughly 10 years together, actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton have tied the knot. The couple married Oct. 5 in what Morgan called an "intimate" ceremony. Morgan and Burton share two children together. Though publications have reported them married in the past, Burton said, it "felt silly to try and correct anything."

Read full article: Dango Nguyen of 'Walking Dead' has died(CNN) - Dango Nguyen, a former firefighter and actor who appeared on "The Walking Dead" died Saturday "after a hard-fought battle with cancer," according to Georgia's Athens-Clarke County Fire department. Nguyen, known under his stage name Dango Nu Yen, appeared in several episodes of the third season of the Atlanta-based hit show about a zombie apocalypse. After his stint on the show ended, Nguyen appeared in other TV shows including "The Red Road" and "Banshee," according to his IMDB profile. Nguyen had also trained as a professional wrestler prior to becoming a firefighter, according to his IMDB page. Nguyen is survived by his wife, Michelle, and family, the Athens-Clarke County Fire department said.

Gurira, who has played sword-wielding fan-favorite Michonne since "The Walking Dead's" third season, announced during the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel that she will be exiting the show. With news of the exit also came word that the zombie apocalypse drama is getting some new warm bodies. Series executive producer Gale Anne Hurd shared that "American Beauty" star Thora Birch will join "The Walking Dead" as Gamma. The tenth season of "The Walking Dead" will premiere at 9 p.m. on October 6.
