A quick change scam is when a customer pays for an inexpensive item with a big bill. The customer then distracts the cashier and says they want to pay for the item with a smaller denomination after they get their change back. It happens so quickly that a cashier may not realize they already gave the scammer their change back. Police believe the man may have targeted other Metro Detroit Tim Hortons locations, as well.

He was wearing an all-black hooded sweatshirt with a black face mask, black sweatpants and black shoes with a white wavy stripe down the outside, authorities said. The other robber was described as a black man standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He had gray sweatpants, black shoes and black gloves on, according to authorities.

It said McDonald's also recently announced a test of a Beyond Meat burger in Canada. The upbeat sales forecast comes as Beyond Meat and rival Impossible Foods are facing more competition, including from food industry giants like Nestle and Tyson that are also looking to tap into the demand for plant-based options. The fast-food chain didn't provide details on how much the burger contributed to U.S. sales, but said it sees momentum for continued growth for plant-based options. It previously forecast sales of more than $240 million.

It also has a deal with Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons, which is also owned by Burger King parent Restaurant Brands. If Beyond Meat is able to land a broader deal with McDonald's, that would be a big win for the company as the plant-based burger business heats up.

The grease trap was covered with a green plastic lid -- much like a manhole cover -- that helped it blend into the surrounding grass, he said. The grease trap is 2-and-a-half feet in diameter, according to police. Camp said a witness found the child in the grease trap minutes after he was reported missing. The city is currently pouring concrete around the opening in the ground where the grease trap was located and putting a metal lid on it, according to Camp.
