DETROIT – A 22-year-old man drove himself to a gas station after being shot on Detroit’s west side Saturday night. Police said the victim started to drive away when an unknown person fired a gunshot into the victim’s vehicle. DETROIT – An investigation is underway after a body was found Tuesday morning inside a burned SUV. Detroit firefighters were called about 1 a.m. Tuesday to Hazlett Street and Tireman Avenue on the city’s west side. Firefighters were distinguishing the flames when they found the body inside the burned Dodge Durango. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the head before the vehicle was burned. DETROIT A woman who lost her father during the height of the coronavirus pandemic is raising money to help other struggling families. DETROIT Police are seeking assistance to locate a 51-year-old man who went missing on Monday. Officials say Roger OHara was last near Tireman and Wyoming avenues after walking away from his residence at around 3:08 p.m. in the 8000 block of Roselawn Street. OHara is described as standing 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 260 pounds and having brown hair and brown eyes. Officials say he is in good physical condition but may suffer from mental complications. DETROIT A 30-year-old man was shot while pumping gas in Detroit early Saturday morning, police said. According to police, the man was at a gas station around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Tireman Avenue and Epworth Street when three suspects pulled up in a silver vehicle and fired shots. The man was shot but drove himself to the hospital, officials said. Police say the suspects are described as black males.
