According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle that pulled him over had red and blue lights. The Ypsilanti man then drove off since he knew the interaction was suspicious. Police say the man was placed into the back of a marked police vehicle while officers detained the woman outside of the vehicle. She got back inside the SUV, slid over to the drivers seat and sped away from the scene, according to authorities. The girl was taken into custody and brought to McLaren Oakland Hospital for a blood draw, police said.
