Testing spikesMeanwhile, testing has more than doubled in recent weeks, and the positive rate continues to drop. The state is now 16th in testing rate, which is up from 24th just three weeks ago. Hospitalizations show steady declineTracking data in the last month, hospitalizations, specifically critical care patients, have showed a steady decline. As of May 15, only 5.68% of active COVID-19 cases were hospitalized in Michigan, down from nearly 18% on April 12.
