Just a day before she was pronounced dead, Child Protective Services did a welfare check on her.

HOLLY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The family of a 3-year-old Holly Township girl who died on Saturday said she had severe bruises and internal bleeding. Christine Cunningham is Trinity’s grandmother. Christine Cunningham said her daughter got a text from her boyfriend on Saturday morning. “How can you just drop her off at a firehouse instead of calling 911?” Ronda Osterberg said. “There’s something wrong,” Christine Cunningham said.
