An intense search is underway for a person of interest who is said to be connected with several recent crimes in Detroit, according to police.

One local rescue group is wondering who left two dogs to die on Detroit’s west side near an open field at Trinity Street and West Outer Drive.

Allegedly, the incident followed a verbal altercation between the victim and the defendant that escalated when Hobson stabbed the victim multiple times, non of which fatally injured him.

A Detroit Department of Transportation driver was stabbed Wednesday by a passenger who was told to get off the bus, officials said.

A man and two teenagers were burned during a flash fire in the basement of a Detroit home, officials said.

Police are searching for information on a stabbing and three shootings that happened across Detroit‘s west side over the past couple of days.

DETROIT – Two women were killed Monday morning when their vehicle struck a utility pole at Joy Road and Trinity Street in Detroit. Police said the women were traveling in a 2005 Saab when the vehicle left the road and hit the pole. It’s unclear what caused this deadly crash. No other injuries have been reported. It remains under investigation.

DETROIT – Detroit police said a CPL holder accidentally shot and killed a man on the city’s west side with a gun he didn’t know was loaded. Spicer said she still remembers the intense moments when she stepped outside to find police officers bombarding her neighborhood. “They were out there all night.”Police were investigating what appeared to be the murder of a 24-year-old man. The 22-year-old man accused of pulling the trigger is a registered CPL holder who was showing off a new handgun, according to authorities. “So I had told my friend that he must have gotten a devastating phone call.”The 22-year-old is still in police custody.

DETROIT – An 18-year-old man was shot Tuesday night outside a liquor store at Trinity Street and 7 Mile Road in Detroit. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder and another to his left hand. He told officers he was at the liquor store and heard gunshots when he was about to get into his vehicle. He said he called his cousin to come get him a few blocks away at Lahser and 7 Mile roads. His cousin took him to the hospital.
